The problem of youth’s employment has a special tension during both development of market relations in Russia in 1990th and the abolition of the Soviet graduates’ distribution system. On an example of secondary specialized educational institutions in the Lower Volga region are shown the basic ways to solve a problem of graduates’ employment. The special attention is given to the activity of educational institutions, which was directed on guaranteeing of employment for the future experts. Such variants of graduates’ employment are analyzed as a target contract personnel training, system of contracts with the enterprises, visits of young experts on regional employment agencies. As a result are shown the main factors influencing on a condition of a labour market in region and employment of young experts.
