Annotation

The article presents a public policy aimed at organizing social support of workers and employees of industrial enterprises in the conditions of the Lower Volga region of the Great Patriotic War. Shows the work of trade unions in the supply of workers and employees of food and basic necessities, household organization, medical and cultural services. In ensuring food workers to apply differentiated rules that depend on the nature of the work and working conditions. Additional equipment received workers overfulfilled production quotas. It becomes widespread catering. If trade unions were created by separating the working supply. A large part of the industrial workers had satisfactory living conditions, worked in unsuitable unsanitary conditions. In the cities of the Lower Volga region created a holiday home for the industrial workers. Considerable attention was paid to a social security. The article shows the difficulties and shortcomings which existed in the implementation of the state policy on social support industrial workers in military terms.
