In modern conditions of human activity, the problem that requires the inclusion of any person in the overall social integrity and the very structure of society has not lost its relevance. Socialization of a person here occupies one of the main places in the process of his formation as a person. The formation of human qualities and properties occurs within a specific socio - cultural environment, which makes its own adjustments. A specific human environment has a whole set of different institutions that influence the formation of a certain set of social needs and interests of an individual to a greater or lesser extent. Socialization of the individual forms a certain motivational mechanism of action of the individual, the purpose of which is to achieve a certain goal. This article provides a brief analysis of various approaches to socialization. The main age stages of the formation of human qualities, life paths of the individual, as well as types, models and main stages of political socialization are considered.
