The author focuses on the fact that the modernist style did not differ homogeneity and took its place artistic techniques and forms of Baroque, classicism, which were transformed with the wishes of customers and new materials and technical solutions. Most of the architectural structures in Astrakhan, created in this style, represent a skillful transformation of orders, their decorative interpretation, in the facade and interior of which, in the author's opinion, the architects aspired to give an elegant and representative appearance with a variety of decorative techniques. The content of the article consistently develops the thesis that the essence of anthropomorphic images in modern architectural monuments can help interpret the broad cultural context in which theoretical information coexists with urban legends and contemporary contemporaries, architectural terminology with metaphors.
