The human development index in the Southern Federal District

Annotation

In this article the author examines the dynamics of the index of human development in the regions of the Southern Federal District, the gross national income per capita, the index of income, life expectancy at birth, longevity index, middle, and school life expectancy, education index. Analytical study provides insight into the dynamics of the growth of the index of human development index HDI in recent years, and the main points of the growth of these indicators, and notes that in the Southern Federal District, thanks to the significant changes in the country has increased the value of the human development index. It is noted that in general the Russian Federation in the ranking this year has risen on seven positions in comparison with the previous year and a 50-seat, opening the list of countries with high human development, and dividing this place with Belarus. As a result, the authors on the basis of a comparative analysis and a statistical overview of a wide and available regional capacity makes conclusions and recommendations for further improving the quality and standard of living, as well as the rating of the region and the country as a whole.
