Annotation

This article is a continuation of the theme of military captivity started in previous publications. The author focuses on the specifics of domestic regulations governing the status of prisoners of war of the first half of the XX century, and outlining the characteristics of certain original documents, characterizes the conditions of detention of foreign prisoners of war in Russia in accordance with international law. The study and analysis of these issues are important for the development of international cooperation and in terms of the elimination of В«white spotsВ» in the history of the First and Second World Wars.
