Annotation

Being heterotopy space, media culture is the intermediary between society and the state, society and the power. Media culture must integrate all elements of society. Objective information is necessary for dialogue between the personality and the power. But media, being a support of any state, operates with the mythologized information that involves simplification of world’s picture where familiar images appear, the main is the opposition «Our» and «Stranger», ordering the world, accurately dividing it into «good» and «evil». Today the forged information about historical past, which is transformed in interests of certain political forces, is acted as a Stranger. Especially the Soviet era is forged in scientific works, books, series. The fair criticism of shortcomings of the Soviet system is combined with frank slanderous falsifications which purpose is destruction the idea of the creative potential of the Soviet model and introduction of new mythology. Refusal from mythological cliches is necessary, but it is rather difficultly to do, because in the mass-society media use images. checked by time and willingly perceived by the mass person.
