The article says that increasingly in the political lexicon used the word В«warВ». A variety of wars is astounding. Appeared weapons which are not connected with traditional weapons and can be used covertly, including without detection real side behind the use of these weapons. If earlier it was possible to clearly separate from each other political coercion and armed clashes, conventional war and terrorist operations, financial and economic sabotage and guerrilla, today everything is mixed up in some sort of single, sometimes inseparable whole. And yet, despite different terminology, almost all experts agree that now the armed forces and society faced with entirely new threats and challenges that may not be reflected traditional forms and methods. Terrorist attacks against buildings of the Pentagon in Washington and the World trade center in New York on 11 September 2001 were a frightening examples of how the new principles of war are brought to life. The boundary between the concepts of war and peace disappears, as does the distinction between military and civilian may disappear in the future. Recently to solve interstate problems existing in the modern world, in addition to the traditional diplomatic and military operations have increasingly used technology for indirect actions that undermine the state rival on the inside. Names such technologies are many: В«soft power, smart powerВ», the В«controlled chaosВ», В«the information warВ», В«warfareВ», В«hybrid warВ», etc. Consider these concepts and focus of this article.
