The postmodern in Russia is generated by collisions of post-totalitarian development of domestic culture and can be designated as archaic, east, peripheral. It was formed in the absence of full circulation of ideas and art experience that caused its context critical and crisis, drama characteristics which expressed specifics of Russian postmodern. The postmodernism was actively apprehended by Russian intellectuals and artists who tried to transfer its installations to domestic culture. It explains the attempt to actualize modernism art experience, which was interrupted in Soviet period. Revealing the specifics of postmodernism performance in Russian culture in Post-Soviet period it is necessary to pay attention to such bases characteristics of postmodernism as: ironic mixture of language and images of the art directions of a modernism; repetition and interpretation of classical performances; appeal to ceremonialism of traditional culture and loan of ritual forms. Especially it is necessary to point attention to the active appeal of authors to Political Science themes and forms of Political Science activity (meeting, demonstration, barricade), the aspiration to which lead to unpredictability results. Authors openly show absurdity of Political Science struggle, acting as the provoker, fixes all those problems which exist in society. As the result it can be noted that post-modernist art in Russia became an art form of expression the situation of a break of the Soviet values and formation of Post-Soviet culture.
