This article discusses the history of the study and research materials of the Golden Hord settlement "Stone hill", located on the eastern outskirts of the capital of Jochi Ulus the city of Saray (Saray al-Mahrous, Saray al-Jadid, Selitrennoe). The experts in the field of numismatics suppose that appeared on the Mount of Stone in the first third of the XV century, the capital city of the satellite produced coinage of silver, calling it a mint of Ile Ui Muazzam (Highest Home Countries). In addition, this paper shows the results of new survey methodology archaeological sites through the use of modern technologies for remote sensing of the Earth. Image analysis on satellite images made it possible to identify a number of anthropogenic anomalies having different-creation date. Archaeological excavations with the purpose of verification of remote sensing data, found within the boundaries of one of the anomalous zones remains of a medieval architectural structure. Discovered during excavations fragments of pottery and architectural decoration, confidently dated excavated object as the epoch of the Golden Horde.
