The article analyzes the views of a number of philosophers (G. Bataille, P. Klossowski, J. Baudrillard, J. Deleuze and J. Derrida) on the problem of the impact of simulation of reality generated by simulacra, on modern culture. This issue is especially relevant in the analysis of the reasons that influenced the formation of the Person Travelling, which is regarded by the authors as one of the phenomena of mass culture developed in the West in the twentieth century.
