Annotation

The article is analyzing some key aspects in interlinking globalization on the one hand and linguistic environment of the contemporary Russian politics - on the other hand. The main tasks of the developed research re formulated for revealing subject characteristics in intercommunication within the problematized field “language - politics - globalization”. As the communicatively determined phenomenon globalization can be described - mostly metaphorically - from the viewpoint of “flows”. They are including material, financial, technological, human, informational and symbolical ones. The basic problem of conceptualization concerning the theme of “language and globalization” consists in meeting the question: what is maintenance of this “flow” in the given case. It is clear enough that languages as such - dew to many causes - cannot be transferred at will in a space and time. Methodological solutions as presented in scientific literature are focused to different modes of identification. This is for instance the traditional sociological analysis of international linguistic situations in different scales or the “sociolinguistics of distribution”; also it could be a paradigm of language ecology which is defining threatens toward ethno cultural diversity from the “linguistic neo-imperialism”; it may be ascent on discursive and symbolic “flows” and also - “sociolinguistics of mobility” and availability of communication resources. In conformity with language of politics the impact of globalizing factors is taking place through wide lexical borrowings and renovation of vocabulary on the one hand, and alongside of emerging of new discursive styles. One of the models of that kind which is explored in the contexts s discursive stylistics (as different from traditional functional stylistics) is managerial one.
