The role of national societies in the formation of regional culture on the example of the Astrakhan region

Annotation

In most regions of the world among ethnic groups has historically conditioned character and therefore do not pose a threat to their cultures. There phenomenon affects historically develop the optimum inter-ethnic distance: not impeding intergroup interaction, it is at the same time ensures the integrity and efficient reproduction of ethnic cultures, preservation of ethnic and cultural identity. The culture of the peoples of the Lower Volga region is open and shows no negativity towards other cultures, in connection with what are actively developing and successfully operate numerous national and cultural associations of the Astrakhan region. The author examines and analyzes the performance data of the national-cultural societies. Thus, the community and its cultural and educational role that takes on the national society has a very important role of a "safety cushion" for newly arrived migrants and the permanent members of the diaspora.
